Bought to tie dye shirts with my softball teams and they absolutely loved the colors! Exactly what we needed.Great tie dying kit! The purple did look more on the brown side in person BUT I still loved this kit! Easy to use and game with refills! I will definitely be purchasing againGreat value. Love that this kit comes with refills. The colors in these bottles were unique. I buy a lot of tie-dye usually tulip brand. These colors are deep and dark and rich. Especially the one I’m going to call darkest teal ever. We just had a day of tie-dying, family event. The products that we made with this particular kit are everyone’s favorites out of all we did. Just great colorsthe colors look great when applied but faded a lot in the wash. I prewashed my ready-to-dye cotton tshirts from dharma in the recommended detergent. wrapped the dyed shirt in plastic for 24 hours before rinsing out the excess dye. black turned gray, gray to a lighter gray and tan/gold turned to more tan. I still like the shirt but I really had wanted black in the design. this also happened with my tulip dye kit and followed all the directions for both. even used distilled water when mixing the dye.Great colors and easy to use. Good valueThese dyes work so well! I was able to do 6 pairs of kids nike socks and still have a lot of dye left!! The color lasts very long. We have washed and dried the socks 3 times now and they are still vibrant in color. After the first wash and dry after dyeing, the color fades so it’s not as bright as the pic I have shown. It looks better when dried though and after that first wash, the color stays on well. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take pics of the dried socks. Definitely worth it and instructions are very easy to understand. Also comes with a prep thing to make the color last longer.I love that it comes with the soda ash because it helps the color stay so much better than when not using it. The names of the colors are so cute and go great that it comes with refillsLoved all these colors and came out as expected. Used 100% cotton clothing and only used 1/2 bag of soda ash when soaking shirts in water mix. Let the shirts sit in a plastic bags for 24 hours. Happy with this kit!
